DOST : Session on World Mental Health Day at RKMV 10th October 2026
On 10th October 2026, the IQAC and Department of Psychology of RKMV, in association with Himachal Gyan Vigyan Samiti, organised a DOST session to mark World Mental Health Day. The session witnessed active participation of 180 hostel residents.
Dr. Ravi Bhushan, Retired Head of the Department of Psychology, St. Bede’s College, delivered an insightful lecture on mental health issues, highlighting the importance of emotional well-being and seeking timely support. He also offered his services to the students whenever required.
Sh. Satyawan Pundir, Smt. Sumitra Chandel and Sh. Robin Sinha interacted with the students and shared their experiences, encouraging open conversations about mental health. The session provided a supportive platform for students to discuss their concerns and understand the importance of mental well-being
