|
In this course meaning, aims and function of education are
explained. It also provides the knowledge of basic schools
of Philosophy and their contribution in the field of
education. Meaning and classification of Valve education are
also explained.

Foundations of Education
|
This course introduces students to the basic concepts of
educational sociology and relationship between sociology of
education. Concept of social change and factors affecting
social change and role of teachers and school in it. In this
course the students are introduced to the definition, and
characteristics of community and impact of school on
community. Process of socialization and teacher’s role in
socialization is also described.

In this course concept of Psychology and Educational
Psychology, nature and scope of Educational Psychology and
its nature and scope are described. This course is designed
to enable students to know about the various methods of
educational Psychology. The course will concentrate on

Islamic Education during ancient and medieval period

discussed in this course.
